Following Cnet’s positive review of the HTC Hero smartphone, where they scored it 9.0, they’ve now put up their video impressions. The video gives a good tour of the phone, however I found the speed of the UI most interesting, proving to be very zippy when moving between different themes.
It also shows that the UI can be a bit slow at times. One particular example involved changing the orientation of the keyboard from portrait to landscape mode. Hopefully this is something that can be improved with future firmware updates. I also liked how good some of the applications like Twitter looked. Check out the video after the break.
