Given the sheer number of rumours regarding a US release of the HTC Hero through wireless carrier Sprint , it appears to be pretty much a given. The only rumoured launch date we’ve had up until now is October 11th.
Now Engadget has been tipped off that the smartphone will be available on pre-order via Best Buy stores from September 13th. The tipster claims that the stores will be taking $50 deposits for the phone with SKU number 9510013. It’s all a rumour for now, but hopefully not too much longer to see if it comes true.
