New Android MarketThe Android Market will be getting refreshed with the launch of Android 1.6. There are a number of changes over the current Android Market. Apps will now be broken down into ‘Top paid’, Top free’ and ‘Just in’. Also, four new applications sub-categories have also been added: sports, health, themes, and comics.

Another big change is the ability for developers to upload screenshots of their application to help better market their software. There is also a change in colour scheme. Instead of the black backgrounds with white text, this will now be the reverse with Android green touches. It’s all looking good so far, but there’s no word on a release date right now. Check out a video of the new Market in action after the jump.
