Canadians have been left waiting on the sidelines when it comes to the HTC Hero. However, it looks like that wait may be coming to an end. TELUS will shortly be launching its HSPA+ network and it plans to offer a number of new handsets, including the HTC Hero.
The picture on their website is of the European HTC Hero handset rather than Sprint’s chinless version, which may please some people. The site has the iPhone 3GS listed for November 5th, so hopefully the HTC Hero should be coming out shortly after. It looks like both black and white versions will be available on the network.

What no rogers…….
I know right? But the hero is so awesome I might switch carriers as long as I can keep my number
just unlock it, that’s what I did, happy on rogers
Rogers blows…
All of these carriers are unrelyable.. But I’d still stick with Telus over Rogers
I can’t wait for the HTC Legend to come to Canada though =]
I agree with John. The Legend is better in every aspect, I just can’t buy the Hero knowing the existance of such phone. But due to the US’s “carrier wars” the Legend ended up for Sprint while the Desire for AT&T(Canadian 3G compatible). Sigh… I just don’t like the Desires design…
