3‘s Spotify-enabled HTC Hero now on sale

Spotify HTC HeroUK mobile operator, 3, has now released its HTC Hero that comes bundled with a premium Spotify subscription. It is available to order from both the company’s online portal and retail stores.

A quick reminder of the deal, you get a HTC Hero with Spotify for an upfront fee of £99 and a 24-month contract costing £35 per month. For this monthly fee, you’ll be entitled to 750 free minutes and unlimited texts and data.

Look like the US version hero looks different from the UK one.

I am going to the store tomorrow to sign up for this as my upgrade from my good ole N95-8GB, which I am sending to Mazuma to pay for the Spotify charge! ;)

The only thing that amde me reconsider this handset is the pretty naff camera in comparison to the Satio at the same price point, although it has everything else going for it! I’m hoping that maybe the video capture could be improved by upgrades to Android, but I’m not holding my breath.

I’ve got to admit, I am looking forward to unlimited data!
