Adobe Photoshop MobileNow this seems like a genuinely useful application, Adobe has launched a Photoshop app onto Android market. The app has the same image-editing tools, colour adjustments and instant photo-sharing capabilities that appeared in the iPhone app in October.

A number of photo-editing tools are included such as crop, rotate and flip as well as “effects” like the Soft Focus filter, which can be used to create a blur effect and for performing color adjustments such as exposure, saturation, tint changes and classic black-and-white.

Users will also be able to automatically upload pictures to Photoshop.com albums in the background, even when the app isn’t running. You’ll need to have a photoshop.com account for that to work, free accounts are good for up to 2GB. Unfortunately the application is currently available in the US and Canada only, so us Europeans are out of luck.

Update: We have come across an official video of Photoshop Mobile in action. Check it out after the jump.

Head over to xda-developers forum and search for Adobe Photoshop Mobile .apk file. It’s been uploaded in the forums and can be installed on a UK Android phone with no problems. I’ve been using it already on HTC Magic..nice clean interface and quick too…
