The Android 2.1 ROM was leaked yesterday and a video demo has already popped up, courtesy of AvianAzn. As you can tell, the Sense UI looks largely unchanged, albeit laggier than normal. Click through for a taste on what you can expect once the official update is released.

joop, why do you say that? It looks the same as my HTC Hero! I’m not really sure what we’re looking for in the vid – 2.1 doesn’t seem to look/work any differently to my Hero on 1.5.

I can see there are small differences in the design here and there, but I want an update on the market. It is way to bulky right now and I would want more and better categories and more ways of sorting the apps. As it is now it is really only one gigantic list of all the 20.000 apps (or so).
