Following on from the two-month delay to the Android 2.1 (Éclair) update on the HTC Hero, HTC has finally issued an apology to its Hero customers.
“The integration of Éclair on the HTC Hero took longer to develop than anticipated and we apologise for this delay. We are committed to meeting our customers’ demand for this update.”
Okay, so nothing insightful there and questions still remain what difficulties it has faced, especially given that Éclair seems to be running fine on the HTC Desire and Legend. I suppose an apology is better than nothing though…
